Coastal Volleyball Program Information – 2025 Indoor Season
The Coastal Volleyball Club participates in USA Volleyball sanctioned events only. USA Volleyball is the National Governing Body of the sport of volleyball in the USA and takes great steps in the safety of our athletes. Our teams participate in the 700+ team NERVA league and events. This league offers the best competition in our region and teams are ranked weekly to provide parity and thus better learning opportunities for our players.
National (formerly “Open”) Level Information 2026
- National Level teams will practice Twice a week
- Teams have their own courts for each practice session; they do not share courts with other teams. Thus players have more contacts.
- Players may participate in other sports BUT MUST inform the coaches at TRYOUTS.
- Players may not miss more than 1 tournament and/or 1 unexcused practice.
- Players are responsible for their own hotel, travel and meal fees. Coastal will reserve the room blocks for players and parents.

National Level tryout information
Sunday July 13, 2025 – National Level summer tryouts #1 – Forekicks Taunton
Tuesday July 15, 2025 – National Level summer tryouts #2 – Forekicks Taunton - National Level down payment $600 upon selection to team. Balance to be paid during the season in 2 additional payments.
- National level uniforms – 2 Jerseys, 1 pair of spandex

U15 and under National teams will compete in 5-6 convention center tournaments from the list below. They will also compete in any NERVA 1 day tournaments that do not conflict with a convention center tournament.

Club Level 2025- Program Closed 11/28/24
The Girls Club Division program will begin on Sunday December 1, 2024 and will run until Sunday April 27, 2025. Teams will ONLY practice on Sundays for 1.5 hours. This level is for players who need a more flexible schedule but want to develop their skills in a competitive environment.
- Club Level teams will practice on SUNDAYS for 1.5 hours at Normandin Middle School, 81 Felton St, New Bedford, MA 02745
- Club teams will participate in 7 days of tournament competition and 16 practice sessions.
- Players may participate in other sports and are to inform their coaches of other commitments
Cost of this program: Club Level: – $ 875.00

Girls Clinic and Shrimps Program 2025- Program Closed 11/28/24
This program is aimed at developing basic skills and competition. Players will be assigned courts on which to practice. Teams will be coached by top-level players and alumni in the area and Coastal Coaches. All practices and competitions will be held on Sundays at Normandin Middle School, 81 Felton St, New Bedford, MA 02745
The 2022 Girls program will begin on December 1, 2024 will practice for 1.5 hours weekly except for Tournament dates through March 30th.

Cost of this program: $ 525.00
Clinic is for athletes 14 to 18 years old (age as of 7/1/24)

Coastal Shrimps Program
Cost of this program: $ 450.00
Shrimps is for athletes 10 to 12 years old (age as of 7/1/24)
Program Times– 10:00 AM-11:30 AM
Coastal Baby Shrimps Program
Cost of this program: $ 375.00
Shrimps is for athletes 7 to 9 years old (age as of 7/1/24)
